The ASISE Cultural Events group singing competition was held successfully, featuring the musical talents of students from various schools. This event served as a wonderful opportunity for students to gain exposure in the arts, encouraging them to participate in cultural activities.
The judging criteria included:
The program started at 10:00 AM with a prayer service, setting a positive atmosphere for the competition.
Each school performed group singing pieces, filling the venue with harmonies that captivated the audience.
The competition concluded at 1:00 PM, followed by lunch and distribution of certificates.
Certificates of participation were given to all students, and merit certificates were awarded to the top two groups in each category.
Despite the event's success, participation was lower than expected. More outreach efforts are needed to encourage students to engage in cultural activities.
The competition was a rewarding experience, emphasizing the importance of cultural events in education. Increased participation is anticipated in future competitions.
