The ASISC Zonal Quiz Competition conducted at Nasr School, Khairatabad on 25th June 2024 showcased the intellectual prowess of students from various school across Telangana. The Quiz Competition which was one of the Council’s Literary Events aimed to foster healthy competition and reinforce the importance of extracurricular activities in shaping well-rounded individuals.
The competition followed a structured format with rounds covering a wide range of topics including Science, History, Literature, Current Affairs and Sports. Each school send a team of two students selected through rigorous Intra-School Competitions. The students from twenty-four schools were categorized into three levels-Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior. To determine the top six teams from each category, a written Preliminary round was conducted. The contestants prepared diligently and engaged in a cerebral contest that tested their intellect and ability to perform under pressure.
Questions were posed by an experienced Quiz Master Mr. Vinay Mudaliar known for his engaging style and ability to challenge participants while keeping the atmosphere lively. The competition was fierce among the six teams in each category leading to the following winners.
The competition concluded on a high note with teams in each category emerging victorious after a nail-biting final round. The event not only celebrated academic excellence but also promoted teamwork, quick thinking, and sportsmanship among the participants. The event promised to challenge, inspire, and entertain as the contestants showcased their expertise across a spectrum of topics.
