Arrival and Registration

On the day of the event, participants arrived by 8:30 a.m.. A registration desk was set up at the entrance to verify participants against the registration list and allocate team numbers.

Coordination

Teachers were assigned specific duties for handling registrations, participant check-ins, and logistics to ensure seamless execution.

Judging Panel & Criteria

Eminent musicians were invited as judges:

  • Judge 2: Mrs. R. Madhavi

  • Voice Quality, Tone, and Pitch Accuracy
  • Synchronization and Coordination

Opening Ceremony

The event began with a welcome speech by Mr. T. Anil Israel, Principal of Johnson Grammar School, Habsiguda. He emphasized how group singing fosters creativity, innovation, improvisation, and teamwork. A prayer song performed by the school choir set a harmonious tone for the competition.

The judges were introduced, and the rules and regulations were reiterated before the performances began.

Competition Flow
  • Each team had 3 to 5 minutes for their performance.
  • Senior Category: 2 schools participated (1 school absent).
  • Sub Junior Category: 15 schools participated (1 school absent).
  • Teams presented a wide range of songs, showcasing diverse musical styles.
Judgment and Feedback

After each performance, the judges provided constructive feedback, encouraging students and offering valuable tips for improving their musical skills.

Sub Junior Category

Winners were announced, and certificates were presented by the judges. Merit Certificates were awarded to the top three teams, and all participants received Participation Certificates as a token of appreciation.
