The Debate Competition was held on Friday (12/07/2024) at Loyola Public School, Nallapadu. All the teams have arrived on time. All the Participant came in formals without any sought of their school’s identity. At 9:00 AM all the Teachers, Students, Judges and Moderator were accompanied by the debate committee of LPS to the venue (Conference Hall Primary Block). Snacks were served after which all the participants were isolated in the library and the Topic was revealed only to the Juniors by Rev. Fr. B. Suresh Kumar the Principal.
After an Hour, the Debate Competition started with the Universal Prayer, Introduction of the Moderator and the Judges. 7 Teams have participated in the Junior category. Mean while the Topic was revealed to the Seniors who were still in the Library by Rev. Fr. B. Suresh Kumar the Principal.
After the Juniors debate without any delay the Seniors debate had started with 3 Teams. When this debate ended, vote of thanks was proposed after which all had lunch followed by Prize distribution.
Then all the Teachers, Participants, Judges and the Moderator were brought to the Main Campus and then they were taken their respective Boarding points from which they went back their native places.
Overall it was a very delightfully and Enriching experience to the Host School (LPS) as it is the first time for us to Host the Literary Event.
