ASISC Telangana Zone Creative Writing Competition 2025 - A Report

We, the students and teachers at MSB Educational Institute, Secunderabad, proudly hosted the Zonal Level Creative Writing Competition for the Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior categories. The event aimed to enhance students’ thinking and writing skills, encouraging them to express their unique perspectives, stories, and voices. The competition was a success due to meticulous planning and enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.

Participation

A total of 38 students participated across the Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior categories. Each participant was eager to showcase their imagination and articulate their thoughts through their language skills.

Event Execution

The competition followed a detailed itinerary:

  • Welcome: Participants and escort teachers were warmly welcomed by the teachers and the Student Council.
  • Reporting Time: 8:30 a.m.
  • Registration: Open until 9:00 a.m. at the registration counter managed by in-charge teachers.
  • Masters of Ceremony: Students from Class 10th hosted the event.
  • Prayer: The event commenced with a prayer.
  • Welcome Speech: Delivered by the Head of Academics, addressing the gathering.
  • Topic Announcement: Topics, provided by the ASISC, were announced by the teacher to the participants.
  • Preparation Time: 30 minutes.
  • Writing Session: One and a half hours, during which participants crafted their responses on paper.
Evaluation

The answer scripts were evaluated by Mr. Ravi Kumar, an experienced faculty member and expert in elocution and communication, based on the criteria provided by the ASISC. The scripts were sent in a sealed cover on the same day for evaluation and returned to the host school on Monday, 28th July 2025.

Recognition and Awards

Participation certificates and diaries were given to all participants as a token of appreciation. Snacks were provided to participants and accompanying staff.

Conclusion

The ASISC Creative Writing Competition at MSB Educational Institute was a vibrant celebration of literary talent and creativity. The seamless execution of the event highlighted the collaborative efforts of the students, faculty, and the ASISC regional office. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the ASISC for their continued support in promoting initiatives that foster holistic learning and personal development.
